with a two-game lead on baltimore for the top american league wild card spot. their latest series against the orioles began right here at the coliseum friday night in front of a sellout crowd of about 35,000, which is unusual for the a's, who are often overlooked, but not anymore. fans we spoke to this morning say they are pleasantly surprised by their record. even more surprised by the ticket prices. even ran into a giants fan who admits he's a little envious of the cost. >> wow, that is good. yeah, that's great. in this day and age, yeah, that's tremendous. >> although you're an orange and black guy, would you pick up a ticket for 15 bucks to go see the a's? >> no. >> reporter: okay, a little envious but a very loyal giants fan. still, a's fans are basking in this winning season and some say they hope it keeps them in oakland. mlb commissioner bud selig could decide by the end of the year on whether or not they actually move to san jose. the a's starting off this week with a break today. they are off today, but then it's 16 straight days to the regular season finish line. wild card play

are getting reports on some pretty significant delays at airports along the east coast. baltimore washington international is now reporting delays of about one hour 25 minutes because of construction at the airport. newark airport, one hour 52 minute delays. there is no word on if this is causing a ripple effects of other parts of the country. >>mark: news this morning, a french court ordering the tabloid magazine to hand over topless photos of the duchess of cambridge. top those photos were published in the magazine last week. if the french court opened a criminal investigation today into charges that photographers and breached the privacy of the duke and duchess. the magazine is now required to hand over all digital copies of those photos with the next 24 hours. >>darya: they still have the pan the camera of monitoring the birth of a baby panda bears sunday night. the mom gave birth after artificial insemination to get this baby on a date. it was a surprise early birth. the panda is doing pretty good. move veterinarians have to monitor the health of the baby this way because it wants to
